BE AWARE: A deceptive petition to allow for unlimited & unregulated abortions is circulating across the state. The "Reproductive Freedom" constitution amendment puts women's health at risk. It would eliminate at least 25 health & safety laws that currently regulate abortion and would allow abortion to be performed by anyone -- even those without a medical license. If you are approached for a signature, first review the text of the proposal. The unlimited abortion petition description reads "Constitutional Amendment to: establish new individual right to reproductive freedom..." Please do NOT sign this dangerous petition, which is opposed by the Catholic bishops in Michigan. More information is available at www.supportmiwomenandchildren.org.
We Need YOU! With utilities skyrocketing, and costs for everything else going up, we need you to continue to support your parish. The winter months can be difficult in the best of times, but this year has been extra tight. There have been months when utilities have been more than the Sunday collection due to the low attendance. Understandably many have been unable to attend masses. If you could mail in your weekly or monthly contribution, it would be greatly appreciated. St. James/St. Hubert Catholic Church, PO Box 75, Higgins Lake, MI 48627. Thank you!
SAVE THE DATE: The clustering parishes of Our Lady of the Lake, St. James & St. Hubert are asking that you "Save the Date' of Sunday, July 24, 2022. We are planning a Silver Jubilee for Fr. Also, anyone interested in helping with the planning of this celebration are more than welcome to join the Jubilee Committee. They meet every 2nd Wednesday of each month at 10:00 am in the OLL conference room at OLL church. If you can help in the planning of this Silver Jubilee of Ordination, please contact Jerry Mader Chairperson at 989-545-9760

Prayers of the Rosary:
The Sign of the Cross.
In the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
The Apostles Creed:
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit. Born of the Virgin Mary, He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the Communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting, Amen.
Our Father:
Our Father, who art in Heaven; hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary:
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory Be:
Glory be to the Father, to the son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy Mercy, Amen.
My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love Thee! I ask forgiveness for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope, and do not love Thee!
Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel:
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
Hail, Holy Queen:
Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy, hail, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve: to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears.
